B.11Funding the Plan

B.11 Funding the Plan: table 1
DialsThe Government's matching of the running costs: $300K, $400K and $500K in Years 1–3, then $500K a year if it continues; Government can stop it at any Budget, and B.9 tests the plan without it (B.7). The matching pool: $10M, used dollar for dollar (B.7). MCCY's Cultural Matching Fund is one source for it, not the whole: it matches by annual window, about $300,000 a window for general use, and does not match a gift another government grant has already matched (B.6).
Variations not yet in the planA voucher bonus at heritage stalls; a procurement pledge; Corporate Volunteer Scheme secondments; matched payroll giving; pledges from mall landlords and real estate investment trusts (REITs); a Government match on Heritage Plate licence income. Each needs testing, a partner or both (Method, Levers and Data, F.9).
Where to test themFollow the Gift, B.9, runs the funding year by year for twenty years and over 5,000 futures.
