Proposals · Part III · The Culinary Seed Bank
Seed Bank apprenticeship
A paid 18-month apprenticeship at a Master Fellow's own stall, as a registered stall assistant, cooking his dish for his regulars on his relief days.
- BUILDS ON · HDP TRAINING STAGES
HDP's classroom stages remain the on-ramp and the current HDP review is the moment to connect the two; what changes is the middle of the funnel. Apprentices are paid the Progressive Wage for a food or drink stall assistant – $2,220 a month from July 2026, $2,360 from July 2027 and $2,500 from July 2028 – plus employer CPF at the apprentice's age band, for all 18 months of the cycle. Cohorts are deliberately small, growing only with proven landing capacity, because every graduate is a funded commitment.
