Success metrics we can't fake
The programme is graded by an independent evaluator on outcomes: hawker-years sustained, graduate retention, pipeline depth, graduate income and hawkers' trust.
- INDEPENDENTLY GRADED · PUBLISHED EITHER WAY
Targets are at least 40 sustained hawker-years by end of Year 5; at least 70% of graduates still operating five years after landing (two HDP baselines: 29 of 566 classroom completers started a stall in a hawker centre, and 16 of those 29 still operate, 55%); at least two under-45 practitioners for every Priority-1 Registry dish by end of Year 5; median graduate net income of at least $3,400 a month at month 24; and at least 60% of hawkers agreeing 'this institution is on our side'. The evaluator also reports take-home pay per hour worked, preparation and cleaning included.
