Succession safeguards
Opt-in only, with no cold approaches, a 21-day cooling-off period, independent legal counsel, an independent ombudsman and a full annual audit.
Hawkers initiate contact or respond to open calls. Contracts come in English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil with oral explanation in dialect; counsel is paid from a fund the Seed Bank finances but does not direct; and families are notified in writing. An independent ombudsman, appointed by the board, reports publicly each year, and an external audit covers 100% of Fellowships and mortgages every year.
