§4.4

The Family Name Royalty

The master's family receives 2.5% of gross revenue for up to ten years whenever a stall or product trades under the master's name.

It applies whenever a heritage stall, licensed product or successor business trades under the master's name, and is administered through the Succession Mortgage escrow. A heritage stall grossing $220,000 a year pays the family about $5,500 a year: small beside sales, but about 14% of profit at typical margins, so the royalty starts once the Succession Mortgage is retired and the successor never carries both. Like the payment, it never takes the successor's monthly profit below the protected $1,500. Families also receive a private copy of the full documentation, the digital legacy package.
